Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Disaster Recovery Governance Analyst professional, The Disaster Recovery Governance Analyst plays a critical role in supporting organizational resilience by ensuring disaster recovery (DR) processes are well-governed and compliant. This position is not only responsible for documentation and audit readiness, but also for fostering a culture of preparedness, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams. The analyst acts as a bridge between IT, business units, and HR, helping to ensure that DR strategies support employee safety, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and govern disaster recovery documentation, including plans, runbooks, recovery procedures, and test results.
- Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of DR documentation with relevant stakeholders across IT and business units.
- Ensure DR documentation aligns with internal policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34), and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely DR documentation and evidence.
- Track and report on DR governance metrics, including documentation completeness, test coverage, and remediation status.
- Facilitate DR-related risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with business continuity, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to ensure integrated resilience strategies.
- Assist in the planning and documentation of DR tests and exercises, ensuring lessons learned are captured and incorporated.
What you’ll need
- Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, IT governance, or audit support with 8 to 12 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of DR frameworks, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with audit processes and evidence collection.
- Proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, GRC platforms, or similar documentation systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
