Senior Technical Analyst - Application packaging and Deployment

This role will be primarily focused on delivering a BAU / Project services within a shared service delivery model.

What You’ll Do
- Develop application packages in MSI, MSIX, and Wrappers using PSADT, as well as native PowerShell scripts for various Windows operating systems, utilizing tools such as AdminStudio, InstallShield, Wise Package Studio, Advanced Installer, PACE, and Master Packager. Test and maintain software packages for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Create application packages for macOS environments.
- Deploy applications in customer environments using Intune and MECM, actively monitoring deployments, remediating failures, and performing retirement activities for applications in Intune/MECM environments.
- Create and maintain effective local documentation including standard operating procedures, best practices, and methodologies for application packaging and deployment.
- Develop and maintain skills in Microsoft Windows, OS deployment and software packaging technologies, including assessing how they may be deployed into existing services or developed into new ones.
- Identify and select, by agreement and liaison with users, the best method to deploy each piece of software requested taking into consider any current technical limitations.
- Creation of changes, Incidents, requests using ITSM tools like ServiceNOW, BMC Remedy, Jira or any other tools available in the industry. Implementing changes, working on incidents interacting with users to mitigate any issues during this time, resolving the requests.
- Be active in ensuring your own continuing professional development and participate in relevant professional activities.
- Design, implement, and manage complex PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and process optimization.
- Execute complex technical tasks in endpoint management to align with business and customer requirements.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Escalate and communicate issues in accordance with company protocols to meet business and customer needs while delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies to drive innovation in endpoint management.
- Provide technical mentorship, lead team improvement initiatives, and contribute to special projects to ensure operational excellence.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Application packaging.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Deployment tools like Intune, MECM.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Intune, MECM, Co-Management, Autopilot, and CMG. Strong knowledge of Intune configuration, policy management, Defender for Endpoint, and cloud security services.
- Advanced proficiency in Application packaging using tools like Adminstudio, Master packager, PACE, PSADT, JAMF across different OS (ex: Windows and MAC)
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows, macOS environments, including deep troubleshooting experience with installation, uninstallation related issues.
- Scripting: Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to pull reports on deployments and remediate to get compliance.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Flexible, quick to adapt to changes, and eager to take on additional duties and special projects as required.
- Ability to work on independent or with a big team with minimal supervision.
