You will work closely with engineers, product managers, quality assurance professionals, and compliance experts to ensure that our processes are well-documented, efficient, and aligned with industry standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dissecting complex technical workflows and transforming them into accessible, structured documents that drive efficiency and compliance.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, quality assurance, and compliance teams to ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Analyse existing processes to identify areas for improvement, ensuring documentation reflects best practices and industry standards.
- Create visual aids, such as flowcharts and diagrams, to enhance the understanding of complex technical processes.
- Ensure all documentation complies with industry regulations, regional regulatory requirements (SEZ and country-specific regulations), and company policies.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure documents remain relevant, reflecting process changes and technological advancements.
- Provide training and support to team members on the use and interpretation of technical documentation.
- Support device lifecycle management (DLM), ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in documentation across multiple products and services.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Process Author, Technical Writer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical processes and experience in documenting them clearly and accurately.
- Experience in regulatory compliance documentation, including regional regulations such as SEZ and preferably have some fair understanding on other country-specific regulatory aspects.
- Experience in Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) and Managed Services business mainly around asset management discipline, as this shall be more of within Managed Services business areas with core domain around device lifecycle management right from Procurement to while lifecycle management of the device.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements, any audit expertise would be good to have around the device or asset management
- Proficiency in at least some of the key documentation tools and software (e.g., Snagit, Camtasia, Frame Maker, Microsoft Office / Vision, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).
- Knowledge of specific tools or technologies relevant to the role (e.g., Jira, MadCap Flare, XML, CMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate technical information into clear, user-friendly documents.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience creating visual documentation (flowcharts, diagrams, process maps). Any relevant certification in technical writing or process management (preferred).
