 Senior Software Engineer (Automation)

As an IT Developer at Computacenter, you are the creative mind behind our IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will work with the team on the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
• You will be developing the code according to the defined development standards
• You will be responsible for performing code reviews for other developers in the team
• Proven ability to successfully develop, deliver, and maintain high quality code
• You will be expected to use agile methodologies to develop the solutions
• You will be expected to understand the principles of good software design development and be able to communicate those to the team
• You will ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
• Understand and contribute to the design of the architecture of new development projects
• Working to SLAs and deadlines
• Review of services and application delivery

Experience & Requirements

• Degree or equivalent education
• 7+ years of development experience out of which 5+ years in Asp.net with C#
• A good understanding of web development technologies
• Strong experience of building, maintaining and troubleshooting SQL queries
• Good knowledge in Powershell
• Knowledge of Bitbucket, Jenkins & Jira (or Azure DevOps)
• Experience in contributing to a DevOps environment (testing, CI, CD, automation)
• Working knowlege in Blue Prism automation tool will be an added advantage.
• Understanding on agile design principles working in agile/scrum environments
