Life on the Team:
As an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist/Advisor, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative HR team that champions a fair, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace. You will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, offering guidance on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and HR policies. Your role will involve fostering a positive work environment, handling sensitive employee grievances with discretion, and ensuring alignment with labor laws and company policies.
What You Will Do:
- Advice and support all parts of the business on employee relations matters to ensure their effective management. Issues include, but not limited to, disciplinary, grievances and performance issues.
- Keep up to date with current ER legislation and ensure they are updated in the company's Human Resource policies as applicable.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace disputes.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, employee grievances, ethical concerns, and policy violations, ensuring fair and impartial resolutions.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Legal teams to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Develop and implement proactive employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Advise and coach managers on best practices for handling employee issues and workplace conflicts.
- Analyze employee relations trends and recommend interventions to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Maintains confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues and abides by data privacy regulations.
- Conduct Exit interviews and improvise based on the employee’s feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assist in psolicy development, compliance training, and communication to employees.
- Liase with external partners & relevant stakeholders for the proper implementation & governance of POSH policy, as applicable.
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or a related HR function.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgments around issues that may have an adverse effect on the business from an ER perspective.
- Strong expertise in investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive matters with empathy and discretion.
- Ability to work well under pressure

- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience working in a corporate/multinational IT business environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
