Pre Sales-Consultant

We are seeking an Information Coordinator to join our Group Customer Strategy team. The Information Coordinator will respond to information requests, create proposal response templates, and co-ordinate with internal parties to facilitate responses to third party questionnaires, such as Analyst research enquiries. They are required to capture, source, and share internal and 3rd-party information to support both market intelligence research and company bid content requests. All content will be in English.

The successful candidate needs to have experience with co-ordinating and documenting information, ideally in an Information Technology environment.

Core responsibilities are:

  • Respond promptly to information requests.
  • Identify where the information is stored (if sourced previously) or liaise with colleagues to obtain the information required. 
  • Collate information extracted from subject matter experts and if necessary, re-write it to clearly in alignment to the question asked.
  • Create bid templates in MS Word that clearly articulate the customer’s bidding requirements (based on customer issued PQQs and / or RFIs).
  • Ensure bid templates in MS Word follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting, and quality standards.
  • Complete non-technical answers as required
  • Work with other internal Computacenter content owners to ensure that the information available is up to date and easy to access.
  • Co-ordinate with internal subject matter experts for external research submissions.
  • Help to maintain our internal information portals.

 

Required experience and skills:

  • Strong written and oral English language skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 application suite.
  • Advanced Word, Excel (or equivalent) and SharePoint abilities.
  • Excellent time management and task co-ordination skills.
  • Sourcing content (company and non-technical information) for written bid submissions.
  • Co-ordinating or contributing to bidding and research processes, including PQQs and RFIs.
  • Preparing MS Word proposal templates that follow the structure of a customer issued document.
  • We require a minimum of 2 years working in a relevant industry, for example: Telecoms, Managed IT services, complex hosting/cloud.

 

We are looking for candidates with exposure to:

  • Sourcing corporate information at a country and global (group) level.
  • Ensuring information requested meets the needs of the requester i.e. if it is asked for at a country level, it needs to be provided at a country level rather than at a group level.
  • Understanding bidding and corporate information requests and identifying frequently asked questions and statistics that need to be maintained in a knowledgebase.
  • Reading and understanding client bid documentation.
  • Preparing MS Word proposal response templates based on customer issued prequalification questionnaires (PQQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Helping to source and fill in information in PQQ and RFI bid templates and individual information requests relating to non-technical corporate information.
  • Understanding the need for accurate information in the corporate environment.
  • Helping to source and capture new and frequently asked for information, evidence and statistics relevant to market intelligence and bids.
  • Contributing to an organisational culture that promotes and supports knowledge sharing relating to both market intelligence content and bid content.
  • Following corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting and maintaining quality standards.

Measures of success are:

  • Typical measures of success will include content quality, content availability, achievement of responsiveness in meeting internal market intelligence and bid content information requests, and contribution to bids that win.
  • Content provided should be error-free and on-time
  • Being able to organise and prioritise workload
