The Global Service Coordination Operations Manager in Field and Lifecycle Services is responsible for overseeing coordination activities in relation to the Device Lifecycle Management service as well as other key services for the APAC region. You’ll get to work with some of the most talented and passionate people in the business and get exposure to leading edge technologies which will enable you to advance your skills.

Operating in a matrix management structure, you will form part of a local senior leadership team within Field and Lifecycle Services reporting to the ‘Head of FLS India’

You will Operationally Report to the ‘Head of Global Service Coordination’, sitting on a leadership team that has responsibility for cost, quality and standards across North America, South Africa, UK and APAC.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • 10 to 15 years experience in IT Operations and responsible to run operations for APAC region catering to device lifecycle management service and other coordination services 
  • The delivery of the service and the achievement of the contractual obligations from an operation perspective, forward-planning and resource management
  • The Leadership and the Performance Management of direct reports and their personal development
  • Monitoring and reporting on team performance and SLA achievement
  • Ensuring Team Leaders drive efficiency and productivity
  • Identifying and maximises opportunities to develop the service and reduce costs
  • Developing productive relationships with ISP’s and management teams,
  • Contributing to and driving Continual Service Improvement plans working with the team leaders
  • Supporting projects and new business take on, driving the expansion of the current services
  • Ensuring Service Quality checks are in place and a “service excellence” ethos promoted
  • Contributing to the standardisation of processes and procedures
  • Responsible for applying matrix organization guidelines
  • Infrequent travel to Europe and Malaysia as part of the role

 

What you’ll need

 

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Willingness to adapt quickly to new working conditions and deliver outcomes
  • Curiosity to understand systems, processes and people for delivering outcomes
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience working in a matrix organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field is often preferred
  • Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area
  • People Management experience/Training
  • Managing a results orientated operation
  • Financial awareness and a strong grounding of PnL management principles
