Technical Product Owner
About the role
The Technical Product Owner exercises independent judgment and strategic decision-making to maximize the value of technical products. This role leads the alignment of business objectives with technical solutions, serving as a key authority in defining priorities and guiding product development. Acting as a trusted advisor and decision-maker, the Technical Product Owner partners with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape product vision, set direction, and ensure successful delivery.
Annual compensation: $120K - $140K USD
What you'll be doing

- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish and maintain the product backlog, exercising discretion in prioritization to reflect stakeholder needs and business impact.
- Direct stakeholder engagement to gather and refine technical requirements, translating them into actionable user stories.
- Author technical product specifications and oversee documentation of functionality, user experience, and system requirements.
- Drive sprint planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features through collaboration with development teams.
- Serve as the principal liaison for stakeholders, providing authoritative updates on progress and resolving issues proactively.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to product vision and strategic objectives.
- Analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future decisions.
- Champion innovation by implementing emerging technologies to enhance products and meet evolving customer demands.
- Maintain expertise in industry trends and best practices to continuously refine product development processes.
- Model and promote Computacenter’s mission and core values in all decision-making and leadership activities.

What you have
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, project management, or a similar leadership role, with a strong technical expertise.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar Agile certifications
- Expertise in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Demonstrated success transforming platforms or services into scalable, value driven products.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and modern engineering delivery practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with strategic vision.
- Advanced understanding of software development and IT infrastructure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple priorities and driving results.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Business and financial acumen with analytical rigor.
- Commercially astute and able to anticipate market and technology trends.
