PO Coordinator (Data Entry)

About the role
The PO Coordinator is responsible for managing contractor and third-party purchase orders, ensuring smooth processing from issuance to completion.  Receives invoices from partners upon completion of work and ensures accurate goods receipting against the original PO. This role is essential in ensuring consistency, accuracy, and responsiveness in the issuance and processing of purchase orders.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Monitors and manages all incoming iRequests to ensure proper review, prioritization, and completion. 
  • Collaborates with Project Managers and other requestors to ensure precise Purchase Order requirements.
  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices and ensures proper approvals for any Purchase Order changes.
  • Receives services invoices and performs timely goods receipting, ensuring prompt dissemination to the Accounts Payable department for efficient processing. 
  • Advises and supports vendors to resolve queries satisfactorily, escalating issues when necessary. 
  • Works closely with the Accounts Payable Department to resolve discrepancies in Purchase Orders or Invoices that may impact the payment process.
  • Prioritizes personal workload to meet deadlines effectively. 
  • Identifies issues beyond his/her control and escalates appropriately.
  • Cross-trains other personnel in performance of duties.
  • Effectively applies processes and enforces standards.
  • Maintains regular contact with all appropriate parties, which may include:
    • PS and MS Management
    • Project and Program Managers
    • Project Coordinators 
    • Partner contacts
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase productivity and improve processes.
  • Ensures supporting documents are in place, properly executed and archived.
  • Understands and abides by all security and operational polices.
  • Manages other duties as assigned.

What you have

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Degree level or equivalent in work experience 
  • 2+ years’ experience with IT and services delivery methodologies.
  • Able to engage and interact effectively with people from many different teams and organizations and maintain these relationships.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook.  
  • SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Computacenter Inc’s capabilities.
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Professional self-starter, as well as being able to work collaboratively with others 
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a focus on teamwork.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills.
